Thank you to all our volunteers, and supporters. WAG couldn't do it with out you. Everyday we are asked How can we help? Can we walk dogs? Can we visit the cats? Can we help drive for you? or can we take that stressed animal out and play with them? It is so touching how many people in our community want to help. All we can say is.... Thank you. See you at the shelter soon, the animals can't wait!

The Scotia Bank in Whistler not only raised money for the WAG shelter but they also volunteered their time to help homeless animals. Today Scotia Bank presented WAG with a check for $2440.00 A special thank you to Kirsten Reinholz( far right) for coordinating this contribution and for all the hours you put in at the shelter and in your home each week.

The WAG shelter below is home to all the homeless and lost animals in Whistler. We are so blessed to have this amazing building. This is a picture of our shelter on Sat morning with some fresh snow..and Abby a staff dog on her way to start her shift. If you are driving past this building and wondering what it is...its WAG, Whistlers animal shelter. Come by and say" hi" to us and our animals

Apre's ski..kitten cuddles

The snow is here and the mountains are open!! The spirit of Whistler is in full swing, and we are so happy to have all the new visitors in town. Another apre's ski idea is to come down to the WAG shelter and pet some cats. We have 13 cats and kittens in the shelter today...they would all love a little cuddle. So come on down after your day of skiing or riding and warm up with the kitties..

FOSTER HOME NEEDED

Mahki has been recently surrendered to the WAG shelter. WAG is looking for a foster home for Mahki as she is an older dog and not particularly used to shelter life. She has been living with a family for most of her 10 years. Recently the family situation changed and Mahki has found herself looking for a new home. She doesn't have the patience she once had with small children, but still loves to cuddle and go for walks. Please help us get the word out for Mahki, she would love to share her life with a quiet active home.
